Hoisting Engineer -Tower Crane Operator
A Hoisting Engineer - Tower Crane Operator is a skilled tradesperson who operates and maintains tower cranes to lift and move heavy loads at construction sites, ports, and other industrial facilities. They must have a good understanding of crane operation and maintenance, as well as safety regulations and site plans. Tower Crane Operators work at heights and in confined spaces and must be physically fit and able to work in all weather conditions. They must follow strict safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the job and may be required to obtain certification or licensing to operate specific types of cranes.

Duties & Responsibilities

Conduct pre and post-operational inspections.

Prepare, transport, assemble, and dismantle mobile cranes.

Plan crane 'lifts,' involving calculations of crane capacity and determination of load weight.

Execute rigging operations as required.
